The 4th international conference of the Leibniz Research Alliance Science 2.0 will take place from March 21-22, 2017 in Berlin, Germany. The Open Science Conference 2017 1 is dedicated to the Open Science movement and provides a unique forum where researchers, librarians, practitioners, politicians, and other important stakeholders can discuss and exchange their ideas and experiences. The thematic focus is on Open Educational Resources (OER). Registration 2 is now open and an early bird rate is available until February 14th.

The transdisciplinary Leibniz Research Alliance Science 2.0 3 examines the effects of Science 2.0 on science and society. These efforts focus on the research priorities new working habits, technological development and user behavior research.

Inextricably linked with Science 2.0 are the current developments with respect to the opening of the whole or parts of scientific process (Open Science). The Leibniz Institute for Psychological Information (ZPID) in Trier, Germany, is a founding member of the Leibniz Research Alliance Science 2.0.

At the conference, ZPID will present a poster on Integrating Open Science Practices into the Research Process in Psychology. The program committee selected the ZPID contribution as one of the 10 most outstanding proposals for a presenting of a lightning talk.

Erich Weichselgartner, principal investigator of the project DataWiz4, will illustrate how the smart assistant helps researchers to manage, document, archive and share their research data. A pilot version of DataWiz will be available at the Open Science Conference.
